Racing and Wagering Western Australia stewards have been advised by Chem Centre in Perth that 6a-methylprednisolene (Depo Medrol) has been detected in the sample taken from Advantage following it racing in, and winning, Race 6 at Pinjarra on 18 March 2024.
6a-methylprednisolone (Depo Medrol) is classified as a corticosteroid (anti-inflammatory) prescription animal remedy.
These findings have been verified by Australian Racing Forensic Laboratory (NSW).
Accordingly, stewards will inquire into these reports on Wednesday, 12 June 2024, which trainers Greg and Skye Bond have been directed to attend.
