Overview
The Bridgetown Harness Racing Club, located in Bridgetown, Western Australia, has a rich history dating back to the early 1920s, with the formal establishment of the Bridgetown Trotting Club in 1927. The club proudly remains “The Home of “The Trots” in the Lower South West” providing a tangible connection between the local communities it represents and the harness racing industry.
Each year, the club organises their “Autumn Carnival” of harness racing which attracts both locals and visitors. Highlights of these meetings include the “Bridgetown Cup” incorporating “Ladies Day at the Cup” These events offer spectators the chance to experience country harness racing, enjoy food and beverages, and participate in family-friendly activities, including a bouncy castle for children.
The Club’s two race meetings each year are a great opportunity to experience the excitement of the trots and the beauty of the Bridgetown area.
