Gloucester Park Harness Racing
Overview
Gloucester Park, the home of harness racing in Western Australia is located on the banks of the Swan River in East Perth, with magnificent views of the Matagarup Bridge. The course was built in 1929 and officially opened in 1930, with the first ever Inter Dominion Championship run at Gloucester Park in 1936.
Every Friday night, Gloucester Park showcases the best horses in WA, for a share in some of the richest metropolitan stake money in Australasia.
Gloucester Park is also home to some of Perth’s most unique dining options, including 3 restaurants operating on race nights and 9 function rooms available for private hire on any day or night of the week.
