Pinjarra Harness Racing Club
Overview
Pinjarra Harness Racing Club is located only one hour south of the Perth CBD in the picturesque town of Pinjarra. Race meetings are held every Monday throughout the year at the Club’s 1000m track.
The Club held it’s first meeting in 1954 and relocated to its current venue, the Pinjarra Paceway in 1990. The Pinjarra Club was the first in Australia to use flexi-poles instead of an inside running rail at a harness track, a move that improved the sport’s safety and is now standard Australia-wide.
The Club boasts magnificent race day facilities; the Paceway Pavilion with a restaurant, full bar and TAB facilities and the most modern race day stable complex in WA. There is also a new children’s playground and the Club hosts free family events on Public Holiday Mondays throughout the year.
