Tomorrow night sees the running of the Allwood Stud Farm Laurie Kennedy Race For Roses at Gloucester Park. Star Of Diamonds, above, won last year's edition of the feature event. Get The Last Word for all 10 races below.

RACE 1 – ALLWOOD STUD DEVOTED TO BREEDING EXCELLENCE PACE

  1. Cody Wallrodt (ALLWOOD GLOW): “Really happy with his efforts first-up. Would’ve taken a lot of benefit from that run. I expect he will run a good race.”

  1. Michael Grantham (SANGUE REALE): “Last time he drew one we led and won. Can’t see why this couldn’t be an opportunity again. He’ll get a lot more pressure so that will be a decision to make early.”
  2. Chris Lewis (CORDERO): “He's a place chance. Last week it was a sprint home. A good pace on will suit him."

  4. Gary Hall Snr (TEXAS TIGER): “He was good last week. I didn’t think he’d lead last week. He should lead this week. If he leads I think he will win but he doesn’t have to. It’d be to everyone’s detriment to hold him out.”
