As the 2024 WA Carnival approaches, punters are gearing up for another exciting season of top-class racing.

This is the best way to test your tipping skills while sharing in the competitive action of WA racing.

How does the competition work?
Joining the competition is easy.
Simply head to the official competition website (Racing WA's tipping competition) and register.
You’ll only need to sign up once (one registration per person) and you’ll be set to tip throughout the entire WA Racing Carnival.
Once registered, you will participate in every remaining race meeting that hasn’t already started or locked out.
Each race day, you’ll pick one horse per race.
As for your best bet, you’ll nominate it for a $50 each-way virtual big bet, while all other picks will be treated as $20 virtual each-way bets.
The competition uses official TABtouch tote win and place dividends to calculate points for each tipster.
Selections must be made or changed up until two minutes before the advertised race start, and as long as it’s before the third-last race, you can adjust your tips.
The prizes up for grabs?
The prizes up for grabs in the 2024 Ascot Racing Carnival Tipping Competition are nothing short of spectacular!
After each race meeting, the top performer will walk away with a $500 Perth Racing Food and Beverage (F&B) voucher, perfect for celebrating a big day out.
And for those who dominate the entire carnival, the rewards are even bigger.
The overall first-place winner will score a trip for two to the 2025 Broome Cup, including return airfares from Perth, accommodation and VIP hospitality on race day, valued at $6000!
Second place will enjoy a $1000 Perth Racing F&B voucher, while third place takes home a $500 F&B voucher.
In the event of a tie, the prizes will be split among the winners, keeping the competition fair and exciting!

Last season’s competition was an absolute cracker, with tipsters lighting up the leaderboard and showcasing their form across the carnival.
Leading the charge was NAWFACTOR, who racked up an impressive 6,660 points, miles ahead of the competition.
AlyssaWins took second place with 5,821 points, while Ronaldbrown1960 came in third with 5,110 points, rounding out the top three.
The top performing media analyst was Alex Vlahos and he will be back to go one better in 2024.
