Generous Hill confident of one more win with London's Image

13 February 2025

Trainer Ryan Hill believes price assessors may have it wrong with London’s Image in Saturday’s $250,000 Magic Millions WA 3YO Trophy (1200m) at Pinjarra.

The talented filly is in a rich vein of form and has carried over her Ascot Pinnacles carnival form but runs into a hot line up and has drawn an outside gate.

Tabtouch put her up at $6 when markets opened on Wednesday, leading Hill to suggest that supporters of London’s Image are set to benefit.

“$6 is a very generous price,” Hill said.

London’s Image has come in a point to $5 since Hill made the comments after the win of Ahrea at Ascot on Wednesday.

The daughter of Headwater sits on the second line of betting behind Shmoov Mover, a gelding that’s been beaten once in three starts.

It’s been a hectic couple of months for London’s Image, who is earning a wave of fans based on her tenacity and pattern of racing.

It surfaced last year with a gutsy all the way win in the Burgess Queen Stakes (1400m) and she wasn’t far off the mark when runner-up in the Placid Ark Stakes (1200m) and Lee Steere Stakes (1400m) last November.

She’s been racing since last September but shows no signs of slowing down and is unbeaten in two starts this preparation, winning her second Listed race in the Breeders’ Classic (1200m) at Bunbury two weeks ago.

Regardless of the result, London’s Image will have a well-earned break after her Magic Millions encounter.

Hill remains confident she can go out on a high and claim a winning hat trick this preparation.

“She’s tracking very well,” Hill said.

“Good horse, good jockey, she ticks a lot of boxes.

“This is her last run, one hundred per cent, win lose or draw, she goes to the paddock for four or five months.

“She shows no signs of training off.

“I just want to look after her, she’s been a very good horse to me.

“If she can go one more, I would be rapt.

“There’s no reason why she can’t.”

London's Image will be ridden by Brad Parnham, who will look to join his brothers on the honour roll.

Steven Parnham rode Playing God (2011) while Chris partnered Vital Art (2014) and Turbo Power (2019).
