
The TABtouch Nullarbor and Retravision Fremantle Cup to be broadcast live and free on Racing WA TV via 7plus

Racing fans across the country will be able to watch showcase coverage of the following feature harness meetings from Gloucester Park:
Friday, 25 April: $1.25 million TABtouch Nullarbor at Gloucester Park; and
Friday, 2 May: $300,000 Retravision Fremantle Cup.
Each race of both race meetings will be broadcast on Racing WA TV, including pre-race previews and post-race analysis.
Racing WA Chief Racing Officer David Hunter said televising The TABtouch Nullarbor and Retravision Fremantle Cup marked a major milestone for WA’s harness racing.
“This is a breakthrough moment for Western Australian harness racing to have both Group 1 meetings showcased to a national audience live and free,” he said.
“For the first time, our harness racing codes will feature on Racing WA TV – alongside thoroughbred racing.
“Gloucester Park provides non-stop racing excitement on-track, and to be able to share that experience with audiences through 7plus is something we’re proud of.”
Racing WA Head of Harness and Special Projects Cameron Brown said televising both the TABtouch Nullarbor and Fremantle Cup would enhance the visibility of harness racing in WA.
“The Fremantle Cup is one of the premier events on WA’s harness racing calendar and we’re looking forward to delivering it to a broader audience through Racing WA TV,” he said.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the excitement, quality and depth of WA harness racing to viewers across Australia.
“Racing WA TV’s coverage will provide us the chance to further highlight the stories that make our code so special.”
