The Westbred bonus system continues to set the standard in the industry, with Westbred progeny amassing $3.78million in bonuses in 2024.
With 603 horses winning bonuses in 2024 alone, Westbred horses are averaging more than $6000 in bonuses per season, showcasing the powerful financial support WA’s breeding industry provides to local owners and trainers.
For horses sired here in the west, a double westbred incentive applies, with those horses receiving double the winning bonus, a further reward to those who invest in WA bred progeny.
There are still tickets available for the 2025 Harness Owners Appreciation Night hosted by Racing WA at Gloucester Park on W Night. Make sure you check out the link in your email and secure your tickets before it’s too late.
