Racing WA stewards have been advised by the ChemCentre in Perth that lignocaine has been detected in the sample taken from Vevinsky following it racing in and winning Race 7, the XXXX Broome Cup, on 24 August 2024.
These findings have been verified by the Racing Analytical Services Laboratory in Victoria.
Investigations continue in relation to these reports, with an inquiry to be conducted on Wednesday, 6 November 2024, which trainer Kelvin Moore has been directed to attend.
