Racing WA stewards have been advised by the Chem Centre in Perth that sotalol has been detected in the following samples taken from Lord Titanium.
1. Sample taken from Lord Titanium following it racing in, and winning, Race 4 at Gloucester Park on 15 April 2025.
2. Sample taken from Lord Titanium following it racing in, and winning, Race 8 at Pinjarra on 19 May 2025.
These findings have been verified by Racing Analytical Services Limited (Vic).
Sotalol is a human prescription medication that belongs to the group of medicines called beta blockers used to treat and prevent abnormal heart rhythms.
Stewards will inquire into these reports on Wednesday 23 July 2025 which Mr De Campo has been directed to attend.
