Community grants
Racing WA Community Fund Grant Round
Our grants program is designed to provide vital financial support to organisations and projects that actively contribute to the development and promotion of communities closely linked to racing.
These grants will specifically cater to animal or community-related programs and activities, and projects that promote sustainability, with funding of up to $5000 provided to each recipient.

A second grant round will open in late 2024.
2024 Grant Rounds
The first grant round in 2024 accepted applications from community groups and projects that operate within a town connected to a thoroughbred, harness or greyhound race club in the Kimberly, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Wheatbelt or the Mid West regions. Applications for this round is now closed.
The following grant round, which will open in late 2024, will take applications from the Goldfields-Esperance, Perth, South West and Great Southern regions.
Eligibility
To be eligible to receive a Grant, you or your project must:
- be not for profit;
- specifically cater to animal or community related programs and activities;
- embrace the values of respect, accountability, connection, and excellence;
- align to one of the Racing WA Community Fund pillars (Connection, Wellbeing, Sustainability)
- operate within a town connected to a thoroughbred, harness or greyhound race club in Western Australia; and
- have a positive effect on local communities in rural and regional areas in Western Australia.
