Thoroughbred owner perks

The Vantage is a venue at both Ascot and Belmont Park Racecourses that are exclusive for racehorse owners and trainers to enjoy on the day their horse is racing. The facility is open every Saturday and on feature days such as Perth Cup or Melbourne Cup Day. On arrival, owners are treated with a complimentary beverage to enjoy with access to a private bar and betting facility. An array of light refreshments is served throughout the afternoon.

The Vantage at Ascot is split across two levels with the upper deck providing owners with a premium view overlooking the course and mounting yard. The lower deck resembles a beer garden and offers owners a great alternative to choose when visiting Ascot Racecourse.

The Vantage at Belmont Park is located on the ground floor adjacent to the Old Mates Bar, which offers owners a cosy setting with plenty of large screens to watch racing around the country and AFL in winter.

Both venues include an owner’s concierge service where owners can collect their wristband and beverage token to enter the facility. Our friendly staff are there to ensure you and your guest receive outstanding service, and whether you're a winner or not, we hope you enjoy your time at The Vantage.

Invites are emailed to owners with a runner two days prior to race day and are encouraged to contact Racing WA at owner@rwwa.com.au if they have any questions.

Owners Only is Racing WA’s premier reward and recognition program tailored specifically for Western Australian racehorse owners.

Once your horse is named and registered with Racing Australia, you automatically join the Owners Only database, granting you direct access to exclusive networking opportunities throughout the racing season.

A comprehensive list of ownership events will be emailed to owners in early August in Racing WA’s ‘2024/25 Thoroughbred Owners Season Guide’.

Ownership Events

As a thoroughbred owner, you don't just get to visit your horse at the stables, you get exclusive access to a whole lot of other areas too - including the mounting yard, horse stalls and, fingers crossed, the Winners Bar where you can enjoy complimentary beverages with your fellow syndicate members and trainer.

Ownership provides you behind-the-scenes access that isn't afforded to the public on race day. This is where you can take your interest in racing to the next level and rub shoulders with the state's leading trainers and jockeys. And don't forget those regular updates from your trainer about the progress of your horse. The group chat will be buzzing.
