WIN A SHARE IN A RACEHORSE IN 2026

Own The Dream is WA’s ultimate racehorse ownership competition, giving you and your mates the chance to win a share in a racehorse at the 2026 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale.

Chad Warner Own The Dream 2026

Own The Dream is Racing WA’s award-winning competition that opens the gates to the thrilling world of racehorse ownership. It’s your chance to feel the thrill, go behind the scenes, and maybe even win a share in your very own racehorse.

Across three exclusive events, you and your team will step inside the racing industry, meet trainers and participants, and learn what it really takes to own a racehorse. From stable tours to insider tips, these experiences will bring you closer to the sport than ever before.

Form a team of two to four WA residents aged 18+, who don’t currently own a racehorse, and start your journey. Attend the events to earn entries into the major draw, where three lucky teams will each win a $10,000 voucher to put towards a racehorse at the 2026 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale.

If you’ve ever dreamed of cheering home your own horse, this is your moment.

Registrations close at 12pm AWST on Wednesday 7 January 2026, and only 25 teams will be accepted, so make your submission count!

Brittany Taylor with Man Booker at Optus Stadium

BRITTANY TAYLOR

Brittany Taylor grew up immersed in racing, introduced to horses as a baby by her grandparents and trainer father, Jim Taylor.

She began working for her dad at just 12 and still rides trackwork for him today. At 18, Brittany part-owned her first racehorse, Thateldo, who won six of his first 13 starts and placed in the other seven—a dream start to ownership.

In 2020, she and her fellow owners claimed Western Australia’s inaugural Magic Millions Racing Women’s Bonus when Surveillance became the first all-female owned horse past the post in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic.

The 2026 series marks Brittany’s eighth year with Own The Dream, and she looks forward to welcoming new teams to share the thrill of racehorse ownership.
