What to Expect:

• Expert Insights: Learn everything you need to know about costs, timelines, and the thrill of seeing your horse on the track.
• Interactive Q&A: Have burning questions about part-owning a racehorse? Get them answered by the state’s leading trainers, who will share their experiences and recommendations.
• Engaging Panel: Enjoy a lively panel discussion hosted by Ambassador Brittany Taylor, filled with banter, tips, and a warm welcome to the world of racehorse ownership.
• Networking Opportunities: Mix and mingle with trainers and syndicators in a relaxed setting. This is your chance to ask those “silly” questions and find the perfect team to join at the sales.
• Team Inauguration: Teams will be inaugurated on stage and receive their battle packs, preparing them for the exciting events ahead.
• First Challenge: Kick off the competition with your first challenge, setting the stage for an action-packed three weeks.

The Stable & Stud Tour event takes you on an unforgettable journey to Mundijong and Hopeland, the equine epicentre of Western Australia. Travel in comfort on an air-conditioned coach and gain rare behind-the-scenes access to two major racing operations.

What to Expect:

• Training Property Visit: Start your tour at the training property of rising young horseman Ryan Hill. Discover the facilities that train up to 40 thoroughbreds and get up close to the horses. Ryan Hill and his partner, Victoria Corver, will share their expert tips and insights on training racehorses for success. Learn what it takes to be a successful owner and get advice tailored for first-time owners.
• Darling View Thoroughbreds: Next, board the coach to Darling View Thoroughbreds, home to WA’s super sire, Playing God. This pristine breeding farm is one of the largest thoroughbred operations in the state and also hosts new sires Lightsaber and Splintex. Enjoy a short tour of the stud and witness a yearling parade of future champions. Stud master Brent Atwell will explain the differences between early running 2YO types and later maturing 3YO types, and teach you how to evaluate yearlings based on conformation and sale pedigrees.
• Playing God Parade: Get an up-close look at Playing God and understand why his progeny are excelling on WA racetracks.
• Gourmet BBQ Lunch: Savor a delicious BBQ lunch and refreshments before heading back to Perth.

Get ready for the thrilling climax of the Own The Dream competition!

In 2025, one lucky team will join the ranks of seven previous champions, taking home a $20,000 prize to spend on a racehorse at the Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale. But before the grand prize is awarded, teams will experience the ultimate race day at Pinjarra Park, located an hour south of Perth in the picturesque Peel region.

What to Expect:

• Magic Millions Race Day: Immerse yourself in the excitement of one of WA’s biggest regional race days. Join a huge crowd celebrating big prizemoney races, where dreams come alive for owners and connections—a possibility for your team in just a year’s time!
• Exclusive Marquee: Enjoy the day in an exclusive race day marquee with tipping competitions, ownership experiences, and entertainment. Mingle with other teams, enjoy a complimentary lunch, and sip on two drink tokens in a private facility.
• Fashions on the Field: Dress to impress and revel in the vibrant colours and stunning fashion. Ladies can participate in the Fashions on the Field contest, adding a touch of glamour to the high-energy race day.
• Unique Ownership Experience: Each team will be paired with a horse for the day. Meet your horse, enter the mounting yard, and see the jockey up close. Participate in sweepstakes, losing betting draws, fashion contests, and more.
